The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has a nifty interactive map on their web site called Dynamic Maps of Nonprime Mortgage Conditions in the United States . It’s powered by FirstAmerican CoreLogic and LoanPerformance Data.
It’s nice to see the Fed be so proactive with this sort of information.
The interactive map allows you to drill down to the county level and gather a lot of interesting stats on foreclosures, reo, no doc loans, FICO scores, etc. Gotta love the no-doc map above (note CA and FL). No wonder one of three sales in California in February 2008 were foreclosures.
