There has been a lot going on this week, but its been radio silent at Matrix.
Last weekend I caught my first lobster. Investing in four pots, a boat and gas, it was probably the most expensive lobster ever caught in North America. So I threw it back in.
I am still reeling from the rush. Ok, ok, so I am exaggerating a bit. Actually a lot of exciting work is being done at my appraisal firm Miller Samuel and the mothership, Radar Logic.
Its been 24/7 and I haven’t had a day off in about a month (in Lobster years).
A lot is happening in the real estate economy and I am anxious to write about it.

Be back next week.
Good to have you back JM! Is sh*t about to hit the proverbial fan?
ABX markets plunge / next credit round? Cheyne Capital Insolvency? BAC awful earnings miss
…something is cooking!
I like your blog. I grew up in Washington and we would go out on the sound and go crabbing. Would love to hit the east coast and check out the lobsters one of these days. I can’t believe you threw your first one back, you should have sent him to the taxidermist and mounted it on your wall 🙂
When are you releasing the Q3 report? I have been checking in daily for over a week and am disappointed every time I see it’s not up.
When are you releasing the NYC Q3 report?
To those above that posted requesting Q3 reports, why not check out Halstead, Brown Harris Stevens and Corcoran sites for their Q3 reports? They all have em posted. JM seems to be preoccupied with lobster, so Elliman hasn’t posted their yet.
isellny – Really sorry for the delay. It’ll be out this week. Production delay – all my fault.
